Do you want some?
Predominantly, we organise event days outdoors where there is a gate entry. We would be looking to have a minimum of 2000 attendance and therefore sufficient space to make such an event worthwhile. Any large open space.
The aim is to raise funds for a cause, normally associated to the location in which the event takes place. Friends of Parks aim to raise funds to restore parks for example. Alternatively, we could split the charity pot from the event between a local community cause and an open space restoration. Where no such group exists locally, we could look to provide the funds for local regeneration groups. The theme is of 'Local Improvements of Public Facilities'
You may be a small voluntary group with little resources, or a large established organisation, it does not matter. We can assist.
Can you answer these questions positively? If so Contact us.
1) Do you have a community cause near a large open space?
2) Can you identify an area for car parking?
3) Is your area near to dense domestic housing without the risk to visitors of large highways to treverse?
4) Do you have access to some voluntary help who can assist on the day. The more volunteers, the greater the contribution to your cause.
5) Will the community sympathise with your cause locally and want to visit, have fun etc or is the location so blighted by vandals that the public will avoid the area?
If answered positively, then we have the basics of a big event...
